Emmett’s First Fall
Home for (almost) a week
We came home last Thursday, so today will be seven days of trying to figure out what we’re doing on our own. I think Emmett may be wearing footie pajamas until he can dress himself. Below are a few highlights.
Today I gave Emmett his first bath since we came home. He repaid the favor by peeing on me for the first time.
Yesterday, we figured out how to dress Emmett in a shirt and pants. And avoided taking the shirt off until we once again had clean pajamas.
Dad taught Irene how to hold a baby.
Whitey approves of her new buddy. Kris is often trying to protect Emmett from White's excitement.
Finally, I had to share this – it’s not from the last week, but it’s too good to keep just on my phone.
